I never really wear makeup, what do I do?

If the idea of wearing a full face of makeup scares you, you’re not alone. There are plenty of brides out there that opt for very minimal makeup on their wedding day or even no makeup at all! In fact the vast majority of my bridal clients are not big makeup wearers and it’s one of the first things they tell me about themselves.

My philosophy is that makeup is meant to be a bit of fun and to make you feel pampered and special. It’s definitely a nice-to-have and doesn’t have to be a must-have if that’s just not you. Whenever I have a bridal makeup client, I always start off slow with the makeup application and keep things on the natural side. This was the bride can see what the bare minimum will look like and can then opt to intensify their wedding day makeup as they see fit. After all, it’s a lot easier to add on than take off!

Your wedding day makeup is all about accentuating your natural beauty; it doesn’t need to be anything you don’t want it to be!

One thing I always tell my brides when it comes to having their makeup done for their wedding day especially if you’re the type of person that just can’t sit down when something big is happening, then having a makeup artist booked to come and provide the services, will forces you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the moment.

Sometimes brides who think they only want very natural makeup will come back to me and say they don’t mind having a little extra.
