Flat Rate Pricing?! How does that work?

People often ask me, what's the deal with your flat rate pricing? Don't you want to charge more for a bridal hair and makeup service? Etc, etc... honestly, from my experience, it all just balances out. I've had super duper chill brides that haven't taken up any extra time or energy when planning and organising their wedding day hair and makeup, and on the other hand, I've had some not-so-chill clients that have needed some extra time and energy when getting ready and doing their hair and makeup for their special event.

And if you really think about it, when it does come to weddings, you really want everyone's makeup to last and look good in photos, not just the bride's, because let’s face it, you can totally tell when a bridesmaid or mum has opted to do her own makeup...and it just doesn’t give a cohesive overall look in the wedding photos.

Being a bride is an incredibly special thing, but it' won’t be the only special thing in your life, I’m here to celebrate all of the special occasions and milestones that life brings

Another reason why flat rate pricing works for me when it comes to hair and makeup services is that styles, especially makeup styles, can be very subjective. One person’s full glam makeup look will be another person’s natural makeup look, and vice versa. With my flat rate pricing system, it takes out the stress for both you and me, figuring out what styles of makeup classify as what type of service. And believe it or not, it’s usually a supposedly “natural” makeup look or “ simple” hair look that takes the most time.

And finally, having your hair and makeup done is a luxury, so regardless of the occasion, it is still a special treat, and I believe everyone deserves to be pampered.

Weddings and being a bride are huge milestones for many people, but I have been thinking about this lately. Why does it have to be the only milestone we go all out for?

What about the women who have no desire to get married? Or the women who are celebrating milestone birthdays after being told they only had months to live?

Or the women who've finally launched their own business after years of struggling?

I could go on, but the point I'm trying to make is that there are so many huge milestones that should be celebrated where we can get pampered & dressed up for, and I'm here to go all out for every lady that sits in my chair.

Ultimately, getting your hair or makeup professionally done is a special treat, regardless of the event or occasion, and my goal is to truly make everyone feel good about themselves.
